In this Employee Spotlight, we're excited to showcase the outstanding achievements and unique talents of some of our remarkable shop employees.
Employee: Max
Current Position: Outrigger Assembly Technician
Tenure: 6 years
About Max:
Max oversees our Rupprigger product builds. He primarily builds riggers from 30 to 57 feet in length in both aluminum and carbon fiber, so if you own large Rupp outriggers and their less than 7 years old, chances are Max built them. Before working at Rupp Marine, Max was an outrigger installer for one of our certified Rupp installation partners.
Fun Facts:
- Max is an expert on the Blackstone and smokes a mean pork shoulder.
- He enjoys riding motocross in his free time.
- He is married to his wife Caitlynn and has four children
Employee: TJ
Current Position: Assembly Technician
Tenure: 4 years
About TJ:
TJ is responsible for making custom hardware and preparing outrigger and online orders for shipment. He was born in St. Augustine and raised in Martin County FL, he enjoys all the area has to offer. TJ is an avid fisherman.
Fun Facts:
- TJ enjoys fishing in his free time.
- TJ makes the best smoked fish dip in Florida, Pat is a close second.
- When not fishing, TJ is thinking about fishing.
Employee: Sean
Current Position: Top Gun Outrigger Assembly
Tenure: 10 years
About Sean:
Sean started working for Rupp Marine shortly after high school, he has held many positions over the years. Sean has recently been tasked with overseeing the manufacture and quality of our latest Top Gun outrigger bases.
Fun Facts:
- Sean recently purchased a house (and a pool table).
- He shares a home with his dog Murphy.
- Sean is an avid Dolphins fan.
Employee: David
Current Position: Assembly Technician
Tenure: 5 years
About David:
David responsibilities include manufacturing and assembling carbon fiber and aluminum top mounted outrigger poles and associated hardware. He has also been tasked with assisting in inventory management. David is a licensed fork lift operator.
Fun Facts:
- David lives with his fiancé Lauren in Stuart Florida.
- He is an accomplished musician and enjoys making music in his free time.
- David has two dogs, Homer and Ernie .
Employee: Pat
Current Position: Assembly Technician / Delivery Driver
Tenure: 2 years
About Pat:
Pats responsibilities include general assembly, picking and packing of orders. He also performs the majority of our outrigger deliveries. If you see a Rupp van carrying huge outriggers, it is likely Pat behind the wheel. He is a lifelong Martin County resident who enjoys all the area has to offer, he is an avid fisherman.
Fun Facts:
- Pat loves fishing and enjoys testing new fishing gear.
- When not fishing he can be found spending time with his family.
- Pat resides in Jensen Beach with his wife Kristen and their daughter.
Employee: Owen
Current Position: Shipping / General Assembly
Tenure: Part-Time
About Owen:
Owen is a full-time college student and part-time Rupp employee. He helps with shipping, hardware production and general labor around the shop. Born in Michigan and raised in Martin County FL.
Fun Facts:
- In his free time Owen enjoys working out and spending time with family.
- He is an aspiring entrepreneur and car enthusiast.
- Owen resides in Port Saint Lucie, FL.
